  • Processors are solely appointed after a comparative selection, which focuses on qualitative and secure processing.

  • In its contract with the processor, Caerus Vision has made clear agreements about the quality of the data processing.

The processor can solely use the data for the purposes stipulated by Caerus Vision.

Your personal data will never be processed by a processor that does not underwrite or guarantee the European data protection principles.

Processors have specialised knowledge of data processing. As a result, these processors are free to choose from various techniques and procedures, for which they hold sole liability.

b) Other liable controllers

Our website uses various integrations that were developed by third parties. These third parties use these integrations to collect personal data, which they can then use for their own data processing.

The following parties are designated as liable controllers:

Caerus Vision is not a party in the data processing of these third parties. The user is deemed to have read the privacy policy of these third parties for more information about the purposes of the data processing.

Caerus Vision may be required to provide access to all or part of the processed personal data by virtue of a court order, orders from a competent public authority or applicable regulation. Caerus Vision will always exercise a certain restraint when it comes to giving access to these data, albeit always within the limits of the order.

6) Which rights does the user have?

The website makes every effort to ensure that personal data are processed in accordance with the legal requirements. Processing is done with special attention to the following:

The user also enjoys the rights as granted by virtue of the Privacy Act. The user exercises these rights by means of a dated and signed request addressed by e-mail to info@caerusvision.com. This request must be accompanied by proof of identity, preferably by means of a copy of the user’s identity card.

If the conditions are fulfilled, then Caerus Vision must respond to the request within 30 days of receipt of the request. If Caerus Vision fails to respond, refuses to, or if the answer is deemed unsatisfactory, then the user can always appeal to the Privacy Commission to ensure compliance with the law.

a) Right of inspection.

The user has the right to be informed of the existence of processing operations relating to data pertaining to him as well as of information about the purposes of these operations, the data categories to which these operations relate and the categories of recipients to whom these data are provided.

b) Right of opposition and right of amendment.

The user is entitled to have all incorrect personal data relating to him corrected free of charge.

Furthermore, the user is entitled to oppose the processing of any data pertaining to him, for compelling and justified reasons related to his special situation.

If the personal data were obtained for direct marketing purposes, the user may object against the proposed processing of any personal data related to him, at no cost and without stating the grounds for this.
